You Lyin’ Sons-A-Bitches!

I came across the annual “Great Male Survey” done by AskMen.com and decided to take a look at the responses (particularly the in the “sex and dating” category) in relation to those in Cosmopolitan.com’s “Great Female Survey”…and to be honest, I think both genders are lying like shit. Why? Well, based on the eminent behavior of both genders, it appears that most of the responses are the safe, “what I’m supposed to say” answers. I have chosen several examples….
  1. “If there were no chance of your partner finding out, how likely would you be to cheat?”  36% of Males and 45% of Females answered “Not at all likely. I might be tempted, but cheating violates my morals”

Ok. Honestly, this is a joke. A greater percentage of men (larger than 36%) most likely cheat on their woman now… so if there were NO chance she would find out, wouldn’t that number be expected to be higher?! Morals, my ass.

  1. “Have you ever read your partner’s Facebook messages, e-mail or other electronic correspondence?” 36% of Males and 29% of Females answered “No, I respect his/her privacy” while 31% of Males and 27% of Females answered “Yes, but only with his/her knowledge”

This one kills me. I think I have personally met dozens of females that check their man’s shit on a REGULAR BASIS “just because”. There is no respect for privacy and they continue to dig for shit until they find it… and then get mad they found it (..but that’s another story). I don’t think men care enough to be that petty and check their lady’s accounts, regardless of whether they are suspicious or not. On top of that, answering “Yes, but with his/her knowledge” made me laugh out loud. Ain’t no one willingly allowing their partner to check their shit. For what? Goodnight.

  1. “If you had the ability to, would you track your partner’s physical movement (with a GPS implant, for example)?” 84% of Males and 82% of Females answered “No”.

C’mon… you all know you’re curious sometimes… yes, you would track them fools!

  1. “Have you ever lied about the number of sex partners you’ve had?” 51% of Males and 63% of Females answered “No, Never.”

Well. Men? Probably don’t lie as often because if they have a higher number that’s equivalent to more experience in the bedroom and there isn’t as much of a negative connotation. However, for women, IF they even answer with an exact number, you better believe it is 5-10, if not more, partners less than their actual total.

  1. “At what point does a woman become sexually promiscuous?” 34% of Males and 28% of Females answered “When she has slept with her 10th partner” while 32% of Males and 28% of Females answered “When she has slept with her 20th partner”

I find it funny that 66% of men believe a female is promiscuous with 10-20 partners, yet most of them boast about having HUNDREDS of notches on their belts….

Now of course there were a few questions to which I did AGREE with the responses:

  1. “Of the four choices listed below, which is the most important personality trait for deciding if a man/woman is ‘relationship material’?” 34% of Males and 35% of Females chose “Sense of loyalty” over Sense of humor, a sense of caring/nurturing, and intelligence

I agree with this 100%. LOYALTY is everything…well out of these choices at least! Honesty, loyalty, and communication are the big three here.

  1. “If you could change one thing about your partner, what would it be?”  A majority of the participants, both male and female, responded “I am single”, but second to this, 15% of Males responded “I would change her attitude/moodiness” and 18% of women responded that they wouldn’t change a thing.

Bitches indeed are moody, which is annoying to men…. and most women make excuses for their man’s short-comings in order to hide faults that may make them look bad for being with their man. This question appears to be answered correctly in my book.

  1. “Would you dump your partner if he/she became fat?” 47% of Males and 20% of Females answered “Yes”.

Men are shallow. Surprised this isn’t higher….although, I feel like it would be if the question specified a certain number of pounds (i.e. If your partner gained 30 lbs).

  1. “Of the choices listed below, what best motivates you to be romantic?” 73% of Males and 86% of Females responded “feeling close to my partner” (also found it interesting that ONLY 18% of Males responded “Possibility of getting sex”…this should be higher—sex is a huge motivator)

What’s to argue here? Feeling closeness between you and your partner SHOULD motivate you to be romantic!

  1. “Healthy relationships have sex….” 80% of BOTH sexes said healthy relationships have sex “multiple times per week”.

CAN I GET AN AMEN?!?!

Now while I found a few of the questions to be answered honestly, I did have to question just WHO these people were surveying for many of the other answers. I would love to believe that these responses are accurate, but at the end of the day…. You can talk the talk, but many people simply just don’t walk the walk. From societal cheating patterns to the REAL average number of sexual partners of most people, I believe that most people lied to answer this survey in the way they felt made them look best. Of course, responses were anonymous, but even in that type of situation, no woman wants to admit she would stalk her man if she wouldn’t get caught…and no man would really want to be the one who would cheat on his woman if she wouldn’t find out.  Point. Blank. Period. Y’all should all keep it a hundred though… it’s ok to be a sneaky, nosey son of a bitch every now and then…and there are some of us out there who want to know the REAL way you feel!
