Well, bad habit #14 should come as no surprise to any of you. We as a society are incredibly lazy and people don’t realize just how much of an affect our laziness has on our overall quality of life. With that being said, you should be engaging in some type of physical activity regularly. Physical activity can be anything from making it a habit to take the stairs instead of the elevator to a walk around the neighborhood a couple of times a week to hitting the gym for hours on end; the goal is to move around. I have heard so many excuses as to why people don’t work out more. Everything from “I’m not fat” to girls not wanting to sweat out their hair. Give me a break!!! What most of you fail to realize is that working out or increasing your physical activity can do more for you than just help you lose weight. Granted, most of you could afford to lose a few pounds… or ten…but the point is that physical activity helps you boost endorphins and make you feel better overall. Staying healthy gives you more energy day-to-day, helps you avoid depression and stress, and can even help you live longer. Of course, increasing activity will indeed lead you to look better in more ways than just losing weight, like clearer more vibrant skin, for example. There are numerous benefits to this, and I really urge you all to drift away from the technology dependent, couch potato lifestyle you are accustomed to and consider incorporating some more physical activity into your daily routine.
